| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a study on the treatment relationships and characteristics of pericardial effusions (PEs) in patients with leukemia. It says that 2,592 patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL), or myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) who were assessed from August 2003 to July 2008 were analyzed, along with the data on timing, effusion, and survival. The results show that PEs are usual in patients with leukemia and are not related to specific types of therapy. |
