Abstrakt: We present the MRI findings of a carcinoma associated with an inverted papilloma located in the nasal cavity. This tumor can be divided into 2 types, those with and those without gross central necrosis. In our case, the tumor did not have any gross central necrosis, and MRI showed convoluted cerebriform patterns. We found that MRI is unable to distinguish malignant and benign regions in a central mass with no gross necrosis, since this lesion does not alter the basic morphological pattern of inverted papilloma.
