The article discusses three treatment techniques, orthodontic treatment, prosthetic treatment, and implantation, for missing teeth in the maxilla. The orthodontic therapy is the most preferred therapy, particularly when one tooth is missing. The prosthetic therapy is used particularly for replacing, missing teeth with diastemas. Implantation, as stated, is particularly used by dentist for treatment of edentulous patients. An important factor in the dental treatment with conventional fixed partial denture is the use of a modified adhesive bridge sound. |
