A literary criticism of the book "Mabepari wa Venisi" by Julius Nyerere is presented. "Mabepari wa Venisi" is a Swahili translation of William Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice." It focuses on transcontextualization and on the ways in which it is exploited by migratory clichés. It analyzes the effects of identification that are produced by Mabepari's migratory clichés, the effects of estrangement that they entail, and the effects that are produced by the superimposition of both. |
