Abstrakt: The article focuses on a study which aims to compare formalin, ethylene glycol, and propylene glycol with preservation and capture efficiency of spiders. The study was performed in a fallow field that was initially sown with a mixture of wildflowers, in Switzerland. The study showed that the capture efficiency for spiders depicted that there was no significant difference between trap fluids propylene glycol, ethylene glycol, and formalin, or between treatments with, and without bitter agents.
