The article discusses the influence of personal beliefs on clinical education. Several strategies are presented to assist clinical instructors in describing the beliefs that determine their actions, including a consideration of what constitutes a belief, the establishment of ground rules regarding the quality of beliefs, and discussing beliefs with other clinical instructors. |
