The article features the author's experience in teaching an experimental credit course entitled Visual Resources Fundamentals, offered for both undergraduate and graduate credit through the Art History Department at the University of Oregon in Eugene. The author explains the aim of the course: to provide instruction in working with images, starting with photography, and ending up with digital images on a web site. She indicates the factors which contributed to the initiation of the course. |
