Abstrakt:	The article discusses the author's perspective on the process of accreditation for mentoring units. He asserts that most of the units he reviewed are actively achieving the goals of their respective institutions. However, he cites that the value of accreditation would be more recognized if more professionals would participate in the potential of standards in a role instead of justifying that their unit was in compliance. He encourages that the units that are preparing documents for review, to find mentors to help the critical phase of accreditation process.
