| Abstrakt: | The article offers information on the state of the domestic economy in India as of December 2006. The year-on-year gross domestic product growth has been above 8% in six of the past seven quarters, and in the first half of fiscal year 2006-2007, it reached 9.1%, the fastest pace since economic liberalization began in 1991. Also posting positive result, is the country's annual industrial output growth, which accelerated to 11.4% year-on-year in September from 9.9% in August. |
