The article presents an abstract of a research study which investigates the specific role of the 5-HTIA receptor subtype by using transgenic techniques. Under the study, five lines of mice overexpressing the gene encoding the 5-HTIA receptor have been derived. Transgene expression is demonstrated by in situ hybridization. |
