Abstrakt: The article explores the evaluation and optimization of the preprocessing steps for blood-oxygenation-level-dependent functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). The author explains the flow of data through the fMRI processing pipeline from the acquisition of raw, k-space data, reconstruction by inverse Fourier transform to MRI and fMRI images. He also lists the software tools available with which to assemble and apply many different data-preprocessing pipelines to fMRI datasets.
