Abstrakt: The article examines students' attitudes toward science and their willingness to study science. Study shows that a cooperative, small investigative group method resulted in higher pupil on-task behavior and lowered the rate of absenteeism. Thus, the cooperative approach at the science secondary level showed different results in academic achievement, encourages high on-task behavior, and discourages off-task behavior. The authors concluded that using cooperative approach in teaching science, students' interests and attitudes toward science as well their achievements in science increased. It is found that cooperative learning was a powerful method in effective learning.
