The article discusses the emergence of a new role for North Slope gas in South Central Alaska in 2002. A debate is existing over the Cook Inlet Basin's gas supply and demand balance in connection with the gas supply-purchase agreement between Unocal and Enstar. The agreement contains provisions that fueled debate among stakeholders, including competing gas producers and consumer groups. |
