Abstrakt: Conventional voting methods have long been beset by problems with inefficiency, centralization, and manipulation susceptibility. The switch to decentralized blockchain-based voting systems from conventional centralized voting systems. Voter fraud, coercion, and logistical difficulties have been obstacles for the conventional system, which is marked by paper ballots, manual vote counting, and centralized authority supervision. Decentralized blockchain voting systems, on the other hand, use distributed ledger technology and cryptographic concepts to guarantee voting process immutability, security, and transparency. Blockchain-based voting systems promise to transform democratic processes and improve trust and integrity in political outcomes by providing direct involvement, tamper-resistant record-keeping, and anonymity. the main distinctions between the recently adopted system and the previous one, highlighting the potential of decentralized blockchain voting to reshape democratic governance in the future.
