Researchers at the Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology have developed a PEG600-induced krill oil-based nanoemulsion system, which showed promising results in terms of ternary phase behavior and cytotoxicity assessment. The study focused on improving the nanodispersibility of krill oil's endogenous substances by developing a self-nanoemulsifying system. The nanoformulations exhibited antioxidant activity and cytotoxic effects on skin cancer cell lines, indicating potential therapeutic applications. The research findings were published in the Future Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and can be accessed for further information. [Extracted from the article] |
