A recent study conducted by Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, focused on the rare occurrence of infected epidermoid cysts in the pediatric age group. The research highlighted the challenges associated with surgical treatment of these cysts and emphasized the importance of regular follow-up to monitor recurrence and neurological deficits.
