Abstrakt: Supervised field trial on red gram for combination product of novaluron and lambda-cyhalothrin revealed initial deposits 0.55 and 0.25 mg kg−1respectively in standard dose (85.12 g a.i. ha−1(active ingredient per hectare)). In double dose (170.25 g a.i. ha−1) residues were 1.23 and 0.96 µg g−1 respectively. The residues reached below limit of quantitation (LOQ) of 0.05 µg g−1 at the time of harvest (51 days) in red gram and cropped field soil. All the method validation parameters were within the acceptable range in accordance with SANTE 2019. Novaluron and lambda cyhalothrin followed first-order dissipation with half-life 10.38 and 8.36 days for novaluron 5.10 and 3.72 days for lambda-cyhalothrin in standard and double dose respectively in green pods. A pre-harvest interval of 20 days is proposed for combination product on red gram. Hazard Quotient (HQ) and Index (HI) were less than 1. The combination product may not pose any serious environmental risk. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
