The article explores the icthyofaunal diversity in selected lakes of Somwarapete taluk of Kodagu district in Karnataka, India. The study calculates the diversity of fishes and distribution of fish species and evaluates the endemism of the fishes. It identifies fish abundance belonging to different genera and families including Cyprinidae, Channiadae and Claridae taxa. |
