A recent study conducted at Clinica Universidad de Navarra in Spain explored the educational potential of the "Death Cafe" initiative for medical students in palliative care. The Death Cafe provides a relaxed setting for conversations about death, allowing students to reflect on end-of-life topics. The study found that most students found the Death Cafe environment conducive to open conversations about death and recognized the fragility of life. The initiative was seen as an innovative pedagogical approach that enriches personal understanding and emphasizes the commitment to holistic patient care. [Extracted from the article] |
