A recent research study conducted by Universitas Sebelas Maret explored the impact of ownership structure on the resilience of Sharia stocks during the pandemic. The study analyzed 359 Sharia stocks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019-2020 and found that stocks with high levels of institutional and foreign ownership demonstrated greater resilience during crises. The research also highlighted that financial performance is a significant factor affecting company resilience. The study concluded that better financial performance leads to lower severity of loss or higher resilience.
