Abstrakt:	The contact problem of a semi-infinite punch with an elastic strip whose one face slides without friction along a rigid base has been analyzed. The separation of the strip from the base has been considered. An analytical solution using the Wiener–Hopf method has been derived. The distance of the receding contact zone from the punch edge, the contact stress distributions, and the normal displacements of the strip faces have been determined. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
