A study conducted by the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics aimed to evaluate the effect of different endodontic irrigating solutions on the microhardness of root canal dentin. The study found that all tested irrigating solutions decreased dentinal microhardness, with 5% calcium hypochlorite and 0.2% nanochitosan being more detrimental compared to conventional endodontic irrigants. The research suggests that these novel irrigating solutions may negatively impact the microhardness of radicular dentin. The study provides valuable insights for dental professionals and researchers in the field of dentistry. [Extracted from the article] |
