This article discusses a study on the lifestyle of patients with psoriasis and their motivation to make changes. The study found that psoriasis is associated with other health conditions that can be improved through lifestyle changes. The majority of patients were motivated to change their lifestyle, particularly in terms of physical activity and diet. However, only a small percentage of patients were compliant with recommended guidelines. Unmotivated patients tended to be older, have less visible psoriasis, and use systemic treatments more frequently. The study suggests that targeted interventions focusing on physical activity and diet could be effective in improving the lifestyle of patients with psoriasis. [Extracted from the article] |
