Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by researchers at National Taiwan University Hospital and National Taiwan University College of Medicine evaluated the skin and immunological responses to a new dermal injectable collagen with lidocaine. The study compared this new filler to a commercially available traditional filler. The results showed that hypersensitivity reactions were lower with the new filler, indicating its safe use for nasolabial fold correction without the need for pretreatment skin testing. The study also found that most adverse effects were resolved or under control within 52 weeks. This research provides valuable insights for individuals considering dermal filler treatments.
