Abstrakt: This article presents the findings of a study conducted in Senegal on the recognition and treatment of abdominal pain in horses. The study found that early detection is crucial for positive outcomes in both foals and adult horses, and there is a need for improved education and awareness among horse owners to ensure timely detection and treatment. The study also highlights the importance of effective communication and awareness-raising. However, the study acknowledges limitations in terms of data collection and assessing owner experience.
