Researchers at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Nancy have published a new study on bone research. The study aimed to determine the concavity of the glenoid articular surface in patients with hypermobile shoulders compared to those without. The researchers examined medical records of shoulder CTs from 2017 to 2022 and found that there was a significant association between glenoid concavity angle (GCA) and shoulder hyperlaxity. The study concluded that GCA values lower than 4° warrant further clinical investigation for shoulder hyperlaxity and associated conditions. [Extracted from the article] |
