Abstrakt: This article presents the Diagonally Implicit Block Backward Differentiation Formula with Off-Step Points as a reliable and efficient numerical method for solving first order stiff ordinary differential equations. Under a specific selection of a free parameter ρ, the method is found to possess both zero-stability and A-stability properties. The convergence analysis demonstrates its ability to accurately approximate the exact solutions. By comparing the numerical results, the proposed method offers an improvement over the existing Block Backward Differentiation Formula methods in terms of accuracy and efficiency, highlighting its effectiveness in solving stiff ODEs.
