Researchers from the Chinese University of Hong Kong have conducted a double-blinded, randomized, placebo-controlled trial to evaluate the efficacy of a soothing cream gel (SCG) in improving range of motion and chronic pain in the shoulder and elbow. The trial will involve 70 participants with upper limb problems who will be randomly assigned to either the treatment group or the placebo group for a period of 2 weeks. The primary outcome will be the range of motion in the upper limb, assessed using a goniometer. The results of the study will be disseminated through peer-reviewed journals and conference presentations. [Extracted from the article] |
