A study conducted by researchers from Hamadan University of Medical Sciences in Iran compared the impact of team-based and task-based learning methods on the perceived competence of surgery and the quality of training among operating room nursing students. The study involved 50 5th semester students who were divided into two educational groups. The findings showed that the team-based learning group had a significantly higher mean clinical training quality score, while the task-based learning group had a higher perceived competence score of surgery. Based on the results, the researchers suggest using a task-based learning method to increase the perceived competence of surgery among operating room nursing students. [Extracted from the article] |
