Abstrakt: |
The Janus 2.0 Conference brought together scholars in physical education to discuss the future of the field. While progress has been made, there is still work to be done in developing sustainable initiatives and interventions for physical education. The conference highlighted differing opinions on the purpose of physical education and the importance of ecological systems theory in understanding its influence. Teacher socialization, education, and professional development were also discussed. The conference emphasized the need for long-term, funded research and the importance of diversity in physical education teacher education.
