A recent study conducted by researchers at the University of Indonesia has found that varicocele repair can improve sperm parameters in infertile males with azoospermia. The study analyzed data from nine studies and found that varicocele repair led to significant improvements in sperm concentration, progressive sperm motility, and sperm morphology. However, there were no significant improvements in serum follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) levels. The study supports the use of varicocele repair in infertile men with clinical varicocele to improve sperm parameters. [Extracted from the article] |
