Bucket conveyors are widely used in various industrial sectors due to their efficiency in material transport. However, like any machinery, they are susceptible to degradation during operation, leading to a decrease in performance and an increase in the risk of failure. Therefore, research was conducted to understand the impact of operation on bucket conveyor belts. In the study, specimens were prepared from different locations and sections of the belt to investigate potential differences in material properties and strength. A series of mechanical tests, including a static tensile test, were conducted to assess the material strength. The results of the research revealed differences in mechanical properties among specimens from different locations and belt sections. Furthermore, potential damages that may occur with incorrect handling were unveiled. These findings are crucial for industrial practices, providing a better understanding of factors influencing the durability and efficiency of bucket conveyor belts. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
