Abstrakt: With the advancement of new age, the health industry is continuously progressing toward smart work and precision planning, providing higher success rates in treatment of ailments with the help of newer technologies and techniques, giving the best and minimally invasive novel treatment options to the patients. 3D printing technologies are advanced manufacturing technologies based on computer-aided design (CAD) digital objects to create customized 3D objects automatically with the help of software. It is now grasping the roots well in pediatric dentistry, establishing itself as a tool of utmost importance to view the precise anatomy of oral structures and fabricate patient-specific models, surgical guides, stents, prostheses, and drug delivery systems, thereby reducing chairside time which is of great advantage in pediatric patients, making the treatment friendly and more comfortable. Not only has it emerged as a useful asset in clinics for treatment but also proven as a boon to the young budding dental students for attaining in-depth core knowledge in dentistry. The integration of scanning, visualization, CAD, milling, and 3D printing technology, together with the profession's intrinsic curiosity and innovation has given new outlook to dentistry. Overall, 3D printing based technologies have an enormous capability in the field of research, treatment modalities and educational purpose in dentistry. This poster aims at providing knowledge and awareness about 3D printing and its application in pediatric dentistry. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
