Abstrakt: This article discusses a study on the use of hydrogel dressings for the treatment of purulent inflammatory wounds in patients with odontogenic abscesses and phlegmons. The study found that hydrogel dressings saturated with silver ions and an antioxidant drug reduced inflammation and accelerated wound healing. Cytological analysis showed an increase in the number of cells involved in tissue regeneration. The study suggests that hydrogel dressings may be an effective local therapy for these conditions, but further research is needed. The article provides information on how to access the research data and declares no conflicts of interest. [Extracted from the article]
