Abstrakt: A researcher from Ankara, Turkey has conducted a study on the effects of Sulodexide (SDX) on arterial contraction. SDX is known for its ability to restore the glycocalyx, protect the endothelium, and regulate permeability. The study found that SDX has a concentration-dependent inhibitory effect on arterial contraction, particularly in the presence of an intact endothelium and nitric oxide (NO)-mediated pathways. These findings suggest that SDX may have potential in treating endothelial dysfunction-related pathologies. Further research is needed to explore this potential. [Extracted from the article]
