Abstrakt: In today's digital era, doing transfers is something we do every day and is a daily thing for us. The ease of accessing information and downloading data significantly facilitates our work. It provides a lot of positive impacts, but without being patient, the more we receive and download a lot of information, our storage memory will also fill up faster. That's why compression was created. Compression is made to reduce the size of information by compressing the data. The author uses the Tunstall Code and Elias Omega Code algorithms in this study. The parameters used include is based on the Ratio of Compression (RC), Compression Ratio (CR), Space Savings (SS), Bit Rate, and Time process. This study shows that the results of the Tunstall Code and Elias Omega Code compression algorithms work well. However, the test on homogeneous strings of the Tunstall Code Algorithm can't do compression because the Tunstall Code can't process data that only has one unique character. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
