Abstrakt: This article discusses a study on the effects of Pangasius djambal gelatin on the healing process of tooth extraction sockets in rats. The study found that the application of the gelatin increased the expression of osteoprotegerin (OPG), a key regulator in the bone remodeling process, and decreased the expression of receptor activator nuclear factor-ß ligand (RANKL), which can impair hard tissue healing. These findings suggest that P. djambal gelatin may have potential as a biomaterial for promoting healing after tooth extraction. [Extracted from the article]
