Vaginal estradiol tablets not associated with breast cancer.

Abstrakt: A study published in BMJ Medicine found that the use of vaginal estradiol tablets is not associated with an increased risk of breast cancer. The study analyzed data from Danish national registries and used logistic regression analysis to investigate the association between vaginal estradiol tablets and breast cancer in women aged 50 to 60. The study found that the risk of breast cancer did not increase with increasing cumulative dose or duration of vaginal estradiol tablets. The authors concluded that increasing duration and intensity of use of vaginal estradiol tablets was not found to be associated with an increased risk of breast cancer. [Extracted from the article]
