A recent study conducted at the State University of Londrina (UEL) focused on intrusive luxation, the most common type of traumatic injury in primary dentition. The study examined a clinical case of a 3-year-old male patient who experienced intrusive dislocation in the antero-superior region. The researchers opted for conservative treatment and monitored the patient for eight months, during which the teeth erupted satisfactorily. The study emphasizes the importance of establishing a protocol for observing and controlling traumatized teeth to minimize long-term effects. [Extracted from the article] |
