This article discusses a case of solitary cutaneous focal mucinosis (SCFM) in a 71-year-old male patient. SCFM is a rare condition characterized by increased dermal deposition of mucin. The article describes the dermoscopy findings, which included vessels of multiple morphologies, yellow structureless areas, and yellow-white lines. The surrounding pigmentation was attributed to the patient's skin type. The article emphasizes the value of dermoscopy in diagnosing solitary nodules on the skin. [Extracted from the article] |
