The article presents the results of experimental studies of the coagulation of fog particles in order to disperse it due to ultrasonic exposure. To determine the effectiveness of ultrasonic coagulation a specialized stand was developed that allows the formation of fog with the required characteristics. The studies made it possible to estimate the meteorological visibility range depending on the exposure time. It has been established that in the presence of air flows and ultrasonic exposure, the maximum efficiency of coagulation is ensured, while the time to reach the meteorological visibility range of 100 meters is reduced by 3 times (110 seconds) compared to the time of natural precipitation. It has been established that in order to increase the range of ultrasonic exposure for the purpose of scoring open spaces, it is necessary to provide a coherent addition of acoustic waves emitting from different areas of the emitter. Therefore, the use of focusing emitters that provide a high intensity of ultrasonic exposure (more than 170 dB in focus) is an effective way to destroy fogs in open areas. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
