Abstrakt: The influence of surface treatment with a flexible tool with the simultaneous application of a brass coating on grade 25 steel on resistance to fracture under cyclic loading has been considered. In accordance with GOST 25.502–79, a test base of 10 million cycles has been selected to determine the cyclic durability of type I cylindrical samples. The influence of surface treatment with a flexible tool on cyclic durability has been studied under the conditions of a given test base. It has been found that samples without surface treatment with simultaneous application of brass coating were destroyed after 5 million cycles. Measurements of the microhardness of the coating, deformed layer and base material have been carried out. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
