Abstrakt:	A study conducted in Porto Alegre, Brazil compared the effectiveness of single-phase-enhanced computed tomography (CT) and ultrasonography in the preoperative evaluation of solid abdominal tumors in children. The study included 50 pediatric patients with malignant solid abdominal tumors who underwent surgical resection between 2009 and 2017. The results showed that both CT and ultrasonography had high accuracy in preoperative planning, and the combination of both imaging methods was found to be sufficient for evaluating most abdominal tumors in the pediatric population.
