A recent study conducted by researchers at the European University of Madrid explores the relationship between female sexual dysfunction and trunk stability post-stroke. The study involved 38 women, with half of them being stroke survivors. The researchers found statistically significant differences in sexual function between the stroke group and the control group, indicating a correlation between feminine sexual dysfunction and trunk stability. The study suggests that multidisciplinary teams assessing sexual dysfunction after stroke should include a physical therapist to address the physical components that may affect feminine sexual health.
