A recent study conducted by researchers at Shantou University College of Medicine in Guangdong, China, explored the relationship between psychological stress, comprehensive needs, and quality of life among caregivers of patients with cancer. The study found that caregivers experience significant psychological distress and low quality of life due to the demands of caregiving. Psychological stress was associated with higher comprehensive needs and lower quality of life, and comprehensive needs were negatively associated with quality of life. The study suggests that reducing psychological stress can improve quality of life by addressing caregivers' comprehensive needs. [Extracted from the article] |
