Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by researchers at Jagiellonian University Medical College in Krakow, Poland, examined the effectiveness of rehabilitation for patients with disk displacement of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). The study included 35 patients who underwent stomathognatic physiotherapy, which involved passive repositioning of the articular disk, reposition splints, and physiotherapy. The results showed a significant improvement in the range of motion of the mandible movements and a reduction in pain levels. The researchers concluded that stomatognathic physiotherapy increased the range of motion of the mandible and reduced pain levels. [Extracted from the article]
