A recent study conducted at the Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute in Telangana, India, focused on the grossing and reporting of Wilms' tumor specimens. The researchers analyzed various clinicopathological parameters that affect outcomes in treatment-naive and post-chemotherapy specimens. The study included 36 patients diagnosed with Wilms' tumor between 2012 and 2018, and the results showed that histopathological evaluation is crucial for the management of Wilms' tumor, as tumor characteristics differ between treatment protocols.
