Abstrakt: This article, titled "Pituitary Apoplexy: Unveiling Predictors and Outcomes," discusses the management and outcomes of pituitary apoplexy, a condition characterized by sudden enlargement of the pituitary gland due to hemorrhage or necrosis. The study analyzed 46 patients with pituitary apoplexy and found that conservative treatment was effective in managing the condition for the majority of patients, with only 15 requiring surgery. Patients with prolactinomas and smaller lesions showed the best outcomes with medical management. Female patients also had better outcomes with conservative treatment compared to male patients. The study also found that early vision loss had a better chance of improvement compared to advanced vision loss. [Extracted from the article]
