Abstrakt: To date, high-speed mixing devices have found wide application in the oil and gas industry to separate the oil part from various contaminants for the purpose of its further processing. This article discusses the main reasons for the failure of high-speed mixing devices on the example of decanter and tricanter centrifuges. It is also revealed that the most significant factor affecting the reliability of this type of equipment is vibration. Bearing assemblies are the most sensitive elements of the centrifuge design, which propagate vibrations to the equipment body. The most relevant way to increase the reliability of the bearing assembly is considered by using magnetic bearings, which will allow to implement the principle of adaptability, reduce the amplitude of vibrations, thereby solving the problem of stability and stability of high-speed machines.
