Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the role of plant lipid transfer proteins' (LTPs) ligand in allergic sensitization. The study found that the LTPs' ligand enhances allergic sensitization to unrelated proteins in murine models. The ligand was shown to induce immune cell migration and promote local inflammation, leading to systemic allergic sensitization. The findings highlight the importance of the ligand in the development of allergic reactions and suggest that the phosphorylation of the ligand is key to inducing allergic sensitization. Further research is needed to fully understand these mechanisms. The study was supported by various grants and there are no conflicts of interest declared by the authors.
